This style, called a booklet or open side is popular for use with brochures, catalogs and direct mail pieces. All envelopes sold are made with a 30 lb. Chartham Translucent (CT) paper vellum stock and are thicker than a glassine paper stock. The top flap is square and seams are side seams. Booklet sizes range from a 6" x 9" up to a large 9" x 12". Larger sizes, such as a 10" x 13" are available in a catalog style.

Can translucent envelopes be printed? Yes, our printing starts at 2,500 envelopes, but many of our customers have found success in using an ink jet printer or clear mailing labels for the smaller quantities.
